Custom Indonesian Tours

We offer you custom tours, which means that you can decide yourself with whom you travel, in what way, which areas you want to visit and at which pace. To make it easier for you we offer some popular tour packages that you can use as a basis (Example Tours, Sulawesi Tours, Kids Tours). These tour packages will provide you with information on what is possible in a certain time limit (Destinations). Most of the offered tour packages will take 2 to 3 weeks, but it always possible to shorten the tour or to expand. Your requests will be answered promptly and our team will make a tour that suits your demands.

From your arrival in Indonesia until departure we will monitor your tour by staying in frequent contact with guides, drivers and hotels. We will keep you updated on possible events and altered circumstances. In this way we hope to ensure a well organized trip.

You will be guided by an English-speaking local guide (or sometimes Dutch-, German- or French-speaking) who will look after the smooth proceeding of your trip and who will provide you with information on area's visited and people you encounter. However, it is also possible to travel with an experienced driver only, who usually will speak some English. During walks and trekking we provide you with a knowledgeable local guide.

Children are more than welcome on our trips, we will design a trip with less travelling, with some exciting activities and choose accommodation with a garden and a pool. Take a look at our Kids Tours for three tours suitable for families with (older) childeren.

Accommodation

We usually spend the night in small cozy hotels run by local people. In larger towns or cities we prefer to select based on more comfort and a central location. During trekking we sometimes camp in the countryside or at local people’s homes; whenever possible in the traditional houses of a particular area. However we can always arrange more comfortable and luxerious resorts and villas for you.

Adventure

We plot short walks for you or organize treks of several days, adjusted to the level of difficulty that you indicate. During the treks there is a cook joining us and if requested porters to carry your personal luggage.

At different locations in Indonesia we organize exciting wild water rafting trips of one or several days. Besides this Tari Travel also arranges traditional sailing boat trips, during which we will stop at different islands and have the opportunity to scuba dive. You will stay the night on board in simple cabins.

If you choose for a lot of adventure in your tour than you should have a flexible mind and reasonable physical condition.
